About the event

Are you wondering if it's too early to teach your child how money works or when the right time is?

Well, if your child knows how to count, use a mobile phone and browse the Internet to some extent, then they’re ready to learn. And we can tell you that a financially-savvy child will give you peace of mind.

That’s why we’re super excited to be organizing a webinar titled Money Talk For Kids, which will be hosted by Kimberly Evans Sulfridge, a financial educator and the founder of The Kidz Money Project. The goal of the webinar is to help children understand the basics of money and financial responsibility, and to prepare them for the world of financial decisions they will one day face.

We’ll be talking about:

  • The basics of money: earning, saving, investing, and budgeting.
  • How to teach kids about money in an age-appropriate way.
  • How to create a positive relationship with money in kids.
  • Strategies to help kids become financially-savvy and how to encourage them to think about long-term financial goals.

About The Speaker

Kimberly Evans Sulfridge started her first business as a sophomore in college. She holds a degree in psychology and has over 28 years experience in the finance industry. She is a financial educator with Five Rings Financial, and is the founder of The Kidz Money Project.

Talking about her passion for theThe Kidz Money Project:

“I want parents to understand what an incredible gift they can give their kids now that will continue throughout their lifetime. Stuffed animals, toys and even cars come and go, but the gift of financial literacy lasts forever.”
