About the event
"Hide not your talents. They for use were made. What's a sundial in the shade?"
-- Benjamin Franklin
Do you know your strengths? Are you living your strengths? More than any other factor, playing to your strengths enhances personal fulfilment, effectiveness, and is the greatest opportunity for excellence in all aspects of your life.
Come prepared to learn the impact that strengths awareness can have on you personally; on your performance at work, home and in your community. Learn how to identify the areas where you have the greatest potential for building strength to propel you forward.
In this session, Nermine will help you bust the myths that may be holding you back from true fulfilment. YYou will learn the components of and recognize the signs of a strength, as well as explore ideas for how to manage around your weaknesses. She will introduce the CliftonStrengths* assessment and send you off with the information and tools you need to rise to your strengths edge!
*CliftonStrengths is the outcome of a 40-year study of human strengths, conducted by the Gallup Organization. 34 distinct, statistically- significant areas where people naturally tend to exhibit consistent, near flawless performance, were identified. From there, the CliftonStrengths assessment was developed to help people discover and describe their personal strengths.

Talking about her why, Nermine says:
I spent most of my adolescent and young adult years attempting to live up to the expectations of others. I always found myself in comparison- mode, feeling 'not good enough,' i.e.: stuck in weakness-fixing. When I came upon the CliftonStrengths assessment (formerly known as StrengthsFinder 2.0), I began to understand how I'm wired and that when I use my talents, I offer something valuable. My world shifted!
I've been on a mission ever since, to foster 'strengths-based' thinking everywhere I go and with everyone I meet. I want others to live their best lives, armed with a full knowledge of their strengths.
